It's time to turn off the Democrat 'autopen'

The Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing Wednesday to assess the mental fitness of former President Joe Biden when he was in office.

Following Biden’s debate with now-President Donald Trump during the 2024 campaign and his subsequent departure from the presidential race there have been mounting questions about the former president’s ability to make decisions behind closed doors.

The hearing, titled “Unfit to Serve: How the Biden Cover-Up Endangered America and Undermined the Constitution,” not only dug into the Biden administration’s use of an autopen device to sign documents but addressed questions about how to hold Biden’s administration and future administrations accountable when it appears the president isn’t in command of decision-making.

Cornyn said in his opening statement that the executive branch provides many essential duties on behalf of the American people. He asked rhetorically, “What are we to do when the president is incapable of performing these duties?”

One of the problems the Democrats had is that as bad as Biden was becasue of his cognative problems Harris was probably worse.  The current Democrat bench does not look much better.  As much as they might hate Donald Trump, the country is clearly in better shape with him in the Oval Office.  The Democrats would probably be better off if they found a competant governor to run.

Surely they should be able to find a candidate who can sign his or her's own documents.

Drones appear to be replacing jets for many operations.  The Russia-Ukraine war is an example of that.  Drones are often hard to detect and can be used for intelligence operations as well as for attacking enemy targets.  It would not surprise me to see drones engaging other drones in combat.  They also cost much less than manned fighters.

Apple's huge investment in US including Texas facility

Blaze: Apple announced a $500 billion commitment to infrastructure in the United States over four years, its largest commitment to domestic spending to date. Apple said it will expand teams and facilities in Arizona, California, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and Washington as part of its new spending. With a new facility in Houston, Texas, Apple will reportedly double its investment in advanced manufacturing along with increasing investments in AI and silicon engineering. The company said in a press release that the Houston facility will produce servers to support Apple Intelligence, the "personal intelligence system that helps users write, express themselves, and get things done." ... The Texas facility will be for advanced technologies.   Texas has become a place that is very supportive of the tech industries.  Austin and Houston have seen much of the tech growth in the state.  Texas universities have been active in the AI field.
